Hello, I'm Jon Bell, I live in lovely Wellington, New Zealand, and I love to teach. It's clear that AI is going to change many people's jobs, and I'm passionate about helping people navigate the change.

About me

I've been a professional designer and developer for 30 years, leading the app team on Windows Phone and the trust & safety team at Twitter. I've worked at big companies, tiny startups, and ran my own design education company called UX Launchpad.

What to expect

Every session starts with understanding your reality: your role, your constraints, your actual weekly tasks. From there, we build something that works for you, not a generic solution that sounds good on LinkedIn.

What makes these sessions different

• →Security-first mindset. I understand locked-down work devices, data sensitivity, and compliance requirements. No "just paste your company data into ChatGPT" advice here.
• →Tool-agnostic. I don't sell any particular AI tool. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, local models—we use what works for your situation.
• →Teach and build. I can explain concepts clearly to executives and also pair-program with engineers. Often in the same session.
• →Focus on this week. We identify wins you can achieve immediately, not theoretical possibilities for someday.
